These contradictions will not dissolve, so taking sides also means mobilising resistance, and expressing outrage together with others. The working alliances that are formed on a case-by-case basis have joined forces against an environment in which law is only spoken as law configured by the nation state, in which citizens stand against stateless people.
What is in question here is not only what constitutes social aid, what norms it follows and what image of itself it represents. What is in question is nothing less than the global relationship, in which the medical, care, social work and rescue professions are embedded. What concretely takes place in the social sphere needs clarification. To what concept of the world are the medical, care, social work and rescue professions referred, whose self-image includes paying attention to the well-being of the individual as well as positively shaping the state of the world as a whole?
Die Welt, in der Menschen buchstäblich um ihr Überleben, ihre Würde oder ihre Identität kämpfen, ist eine Welt der Konflikte und der Gewalt. Diese Widersprüche lösen sich nicht auf, daher heißt Parteinahme auch, Widerstände zu mobilisieren, sich gemeinsam mit Anderen zu „entrüsten“. Die Arbeitsbündnisse, die fallweise geschlossen werden, schließen sich gegen eine Umwelt zusammen, in der Recht nur als nationalstaatlich konfiguriertes Recht gesprochen wird, in der Bürger gegen Staatenlose stehen.
Infrage steht hier nicht nur, was die Soziale Hilfe ausmacht, welchen Normen sie folgt und welches Bild ihrer selbst sie repräsentiert. Infrage steht nichts weniger als die Weltbeziehung, in welche die helfenden Professionen eingebettet sind. Das, was sich konkret im sozialen Raum abspielt, bedarf einer Klärung. Auf welchen Weltbegriff sind helfende Professionen verwiesen, zu deren Selbstverständnis es zählt, das Wohlergehen des Einzelnen zu beachten wie auch den Zustand der Welt im Ganzen positiv zu gestalten?
