Description
Liechtenstein's constitutional court (“Staatsgerichtshof”), is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Decades before the German Constitutional Court, the Liechtenstein Constitutional Court was granted comprehensive powers to review the constitutionality of court and administrative decisions. It has been in continuous operation since 1926. This anniversary publication examines the functions of the Constitutional Court and its position within the multi-level system, particularly with regard to EEA law. It also analyses other aspects of Liechtenstein constitutional law and the case law of German-speaking constitutional courts, mostly from a comparative law perspective.
