Aktuelle Entwicklungen im Medizinstrafrecht

The legal field of medical criminal law has developed rapidly in recent decades. The Medical Law Working Group of the German Bar Association, together with the Düsseldorf Institute for Medical Law, annually organizes the Düsseldorf Medical Criminal Law Day. This publication makes the conference contributions of the 14th Medical Criminal Law Day accessible to the professional public. The articles highlight current decisions and trends in medical criminal law, tendencies towards an expansion of intentional criminal liability in medical criminal law, the criminal responsibility of hospital management and its legal basis in hospital law, the interpretation and legitimacy of Section 216 of the German Criminal Code, public-private partnerships in the field of criminal prosecution and defense strategies in proceedings for fraud and corruption in the healthcare sector.
