Al-Ibāḍiyya. A Bibliography
calcActive())">
Description
The three parts of this new edition are the results of continuous work on Ibadi Islam that was initiated in the early 1970s with visits to Mīzāb, Jerba, Tripolitania, and Cairo. This updated version benefited from more recent work in several libraries in Oman, as well as the study of as many publications as possible on Ibadism.
The first volume provides information on printed works and manuscripts, along with secondary sources and references to related items. Manuscript details are also provided, along with their locations.
The second volume not only contains publications directly related to Ibadism, but also on Jerba, the Jabal Nafūsa, Mīzāb, the history of Oman, and Zanzibar.
