Anerkennungstheoretische Rekonstruktion von Adressierungsgeschehen im Sportunterricht

How do recognition and misrecognition emerge in physical education lessons - and how do they become visible in PE teachers' actions? This book reconstructs addressing events in PE from a recognition-theoretical perspective on the basis of video data and identifies typical addressing events through case-based analyses. Using segmentation analysis and the documentary method, it reveals visible micro-processes in which addressing intended as appreciative becomes ambivalent and can tip into (non-)recognition. The empirical findings highlight the dignity of these interactions and suggest discussing teaching quality in PE also beyond normative criteria.
