The findings presented in this book show special stress constellations in firms caused by the structural constitution of those organisations and the diversity of their employees. The study also shows that a participation- and process-oriented health promotion system is feasible in social firms, has positive effects and leads to organisational changes. Health promotion work design is possible on the basis of collective and organisational learning processes that can be stimulated from the outside but not anticipated. The study’s model is not only suitable for social firms, but also for other small and medium-sized enterprises.
