How do workers diagnosed with multiple sclerosis feel? And how do work-related stress and MS affect each other? In this book, Maria Zink investigates not only the connection between work-related stress and MS, but also the subjective stress perception of workers with MS and then discusses her findings, which she arrived at qualitatively. In this way, the author provides valuable insights into the work situation of people with this chronic disease and derives helpful implications for the working world that enable healthy work despite such a diagnosis.
Maria Zink is currently conducting research at the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health on the subject of nursing care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
