Arbeitsbeziehungen in der Pflege

The debate on raising the status of nursing professions, particularly regarding the active role of the state, is a topic that has not yet been thoroughly researched. Against this backdrop, this dissertation examines the state’s regulatory capacity to steer interventions in labour relations within long-term care. It argues that, while such interventions have only limited effectiveness, paradoxically, they remain the most effective means of addressing the deficient structures of the labour market and labour relations in this sector.
