Axiome des nationalen und internationalen Strafverfahrensrechts

At the Symposia of the Young Criminal Law, criminal law jurists traditionally consider fundamental topics of their discipline. For the first time, at the fifth symposium in Nuremberg, the foundations of law of criminal procedure gained centre stage. Here, the participants worked on a “general part” of the law of criminal procedure, “general structures” for the criminal prosecution or – the constructive side of the science stressed – in search of the “axioms of the law of criminal procedure”. The now available volume contains articles about political influence on criminal proceedings, reopening for the defendant’s detriment, “prior involvement” by the judge, the development of the law of criminal procedure under the National Socialism, the terms of truth and justice as well as the Europeanization of the right of inspection of the files and the law of evidence in the international criminal proceeding.
