Bausteine einer politischen Friedensordnung im Islam

A global peace order can only last when it is based upon ideals that are grounded on secular peace concepts and religious ideas of peace and salvation. It is necessary to make out peacebuilding aspects of the religions and of the Islam in particular, to enlarge upon them and to reflect on them theologically. Most often, violence is not primarily caused by religions, but it is often religiously or theologically legitimated, instrumentalised of even escalated by means of religious arguments. This volume addresses questions regarding political ethics and ideas of peace from an Islamic perspective.
