Description
Between 1805 and 1819, the period in which he worked as a professor and a student priest in Prague, Bernard Bolzano gave almost 680 speeches on Sundays and religious holidays. In this book, Künne describes the form these orations took and their biblical points of departure. He compares the aims which Bolzano pursued through these speeches with those which the Viennese authorities expected him to pursue, and highlights references to Bolzano’s philosophical writings.
