Blaise Pascal

Blaise Pascal is famous as an outstanding mathematician, excellent physicist, philosopher and apologist for Christianity. Incorruptible in his reasoning and with brilliant insights, Pascal tries to mobilise all man's powers of knowledge to explore his true situation. One result of his investigations is that man is such a creature whose drama cannot be comprehended and resolved by himself. Man is such a great question that only a God can answer it. Pascal finds the divine answer in Christianity, which is the only religion capable of doing justice to the entire complexity of man.
