Brahms-Studien Band 18

The series BRAHMS-STUDIEN has been issued since 1974 by the Johannes Brahms Society in Hamburg – formerly published by the firm of Schneider in Tutzing and since 2018 by Olms. Volumes appear every 2-3 years. The series contributes to Brahms research with studies of the composer’s life and work, and the context of his time. Their wide-ranging content means that the publications are of equal interest to academics in the field, to performers, and to interested music-lovers.
