Brecht vergegenwärtigen: Aktuelle und historische Praxis-Theorie-Gefüge

Every piece of writing about Brecht’s theater theory and practice, every reading process, every reference to his authorship, every course taught, staged exercise, or performance of Brecht’s texts is founded on action in specific situations. Based on an event at the Literaturforum im Brecht-Haus Berlin, the current volume brings together academic and artistic researchers who engage in dialogue with each other to reflect on the distinctive practice-theory structures of this action. It presents contributions on “Performance and Translation Practices,” “Writing Practices and Writing-Scenes,” and “Teaching-Research Constellations,” inviting readers to reflect on their own practices.
