Dialog Internationales Familienrecht
Description
In March 2025, the 7th Dialogue on International Family Law was held in Münster. Under the overarching title of ‚Current Issues in International Family Law‘, representatives from academia and practice dealt with current issues of international family law and family procedure law. The main focus was underage marriage and the significance of Islam and Islamic law in legal practice. This volume brings together the papers presented at the conference. Among the topics covered are the underage marriage from the perspective of child protection, the recognition of foreign marriages in Germany, the Islamic institution of the dowry, the consideration of cultural and religious norms in family law, and issues of international matrimonial property, maintenance and name law.
