For that purpose a description of reports of commissions, parliamentary legislative debates, press commentaries and discussions in pamphlets follows. Furthermore biographical and prosopographical backgrounds are included. Moreover there is made an attempt in classifying the 1870s jurisdictional acts in the contexts of modernization and rationalization. – The author’s research interests comprehend modern history, cultural history, history of science, modern legal and constitutional history.
