Das Recht auf Zugang zur Elternschaft

This work derives a right to access to personality development through parenthood, taking into account aspects of sociology of law and comparative law, as well as the state of discussion in moral and legal philosophy; and thus, defines new standards for the European human rights protection scheme and the fundamental rights protection of the German constitution. This refers to the right to form and develop one's own personality through the relationship with a child - as an integral part of one's identity. Based on this, the work examines the implications for a reorganization of German law on reproductive medicine and outlines the necessary consequential changes in family law.
