Das Recht der Spielervermittlung im deutschen Berufsfußball

This work comprehensively analyzes and evaluates the current legal situation regarding player intermediation in German professional football. It examines the legislation of the DFB and its compatibility with the German law on general terms and conditions and European law. Based on this, the framework conditions under civil law, considering the unique features of association law and the Legal Services Act, are analyzed comprehensively. One focus is on identifying and evaluating the risks under civil law and the options for avoiding them from the perspective of all parties involved in the transfer. The work is therefore also suitable as an aid in contract drafting for intermediaries, clubs, and players.
