The present conference volume collates contributions from research and practice in the field of "Technology and Law". The progressive automation is becoming ever more prevalent in individual life and work. It seeks to promote these new technologies and to develop new methods to exploit the resulting potentials. Law is faced with the challenge to monitor this progress and to give an impetus for further development.
