Das strafprozessuale Verfolgungskonzept gegen Organisierte Kriminalität

Organised crime (OC) has been considered a significant threat to the rule of law and society for decades. As early as the 1990s, a concept was developed to combat this phenomenon using criminal procedure and criminal law. This thesis examines whether this prosecution concept can also be used to combat today's OC structures. To this end, its development, dogmatic foundations and fields of application are systematically reviewed, critically evaluated and, finally, a proposal for the reorientation of OC investigations is developed. The thesis is aimed at academics, practitioners and decision-makers in the field of criminal and security law.
