The digital revolution connects people, organisations, machines or simple objects from daily life and affects all areas of life to a varying degree. Artificial intelligence and autonomous technological systems have a direct impact on an individual’s autonomy, which raises new questions in terms of both theory and practice. The different articles this book contains analyse how autonomy is being lost and gained. Its different chapters examine the areas of law, information and communication technologies, art and design, customer relations, cryptocurrencies, media content as well as working in the digital industry itself.
