Description
This study addresses the question of to what extent the status of employees can be determined and offers a solution to this problem. Following a comprehensive chapter on logic and language theory, the study examines the nature of the common concept of employees as found in jurisprudence and the majority of research literature on this subject. Its author then investigates the legal dogmatic classification of relevant rulings on this issue, while also endeavouring to systematise and redefine the concept by highlighting, ordering and quantifying its relevant sub-features. He does this using a detailed points system, which as far as possible takes into account and, at the same time, critically appraises supreme court rulings. He also constantly acknowledges and carefully reflects on all the possible and apparently valid misgivings about the approach he adopts.
