Der Einfluss der COVID-19-Pandemie auf die Psyche
Quarantäne, depressive Gefühle und Angsterleben
Tectum, 1. Edition 2022, 100 Pages
Description
To what extent is quarantine caused by the COVID-19 pandemic related to depressive feelings and anxiety? To answer the research question, a representative data set from the Netherlands was analysed quantitatively. The statistical analysis of ordinal logistic regressions showed that individuals in quarantine experience higher anxiety and depressive feelings, whereas the multinomial logistic regressions showed inconclusive results. Based on these results, it is recommended that quarantine measures be used in a controlled manner.
