Der Erfolg von Mergers & Acquisitions mit afrikanischen Zielunternehmen

There are a large number of scientific studies on M&A with target companies in Western industrialised countries. However, the increasing interest in M&A with African target companies is tempered by a lack of studies on the success of such M&A. Therefore, in this work a literature review on this topic is presented; by means of a capital market-based investigation approach, the development of the value of buyer companies after they have announced M&A with African target companies is examined; and the factors that could influence the probability of concluding such M&A are also analysed.
