Description
In 20 chapters, the inherent rationality of economic reasoning, the fairness of global finance, and models of fairness in organ donation are discussed. Universal basic income and the demand for a wealth tax are put to the test. And finally, the book examines the tax morality of a state that, in the postwar period, was content with around 35% of GDP despite rebuilding countless cities and integrating millions of refugees from the former German eastern territories, but has gradually increased this share by half to around 50% of GDP in a community that has long been prosperous. As a result, it is not unfair to consider the state the most greedy entity in world history, especially since it is still increasing its debt—at the expense of our children and grandchildren.
