The work questions the existing possibilities for a uniform application of collective bargaining agreements across company boundaries, namely at the level of corporate groups. In doing so, it examines how the scope of application of collective bargaining agreements can be linked with the legal form of a corporate group and thereby sheds light on the interface between labor, tariff and company law.
Especially for larger business organisations, a uniform collective agreement design can raise a number of synergies and serve to establish a uniform employment policy. The author examines new ways to ensure that group-wide tariff regulations can be established in a legally compliant way and furthermore, how they will be adaptable to future change.
