Description
This monograph is the first to examine and compare the reception of the management plan for Natura 2000 sites in Germany and England. Conceptually, the work is aimed equally at science and practice (e.g. executive, nature conservation associations).
The starting point of the study is the normative basis of the management plan in Art. 6 para. 1 of the Habitats Directive, its interpretation by the ECJ and the transformation of this provision by international environmental law.
The focus is on the country reports for Germany and England. The reception of the management plan in nati-onal law is analyzed, including legal doctrine, case law, planning practice and history as well as legal effec-tiveness. The Brexit is taken into account.
