Description
Since MiFID II and MiFIR came into force, trading via systematic internalisers has become increasingly important. This book takes the revision and expansion of the regulations by MiFID II/MiFIR as an opportunity for an in-depth analysis of this regulatory model, which has so far received little attention in the literature. The reader is shown both the scope of the definition and the obligations of the systematic internaliser, with a particular focus on the pre-trade transparency obligations of Art. 14 ff. MiFIR. In addition, the paper examines the question, which is important in practice, what legal effects breaches of duty by the internaliser can have.
