Deutsch-polnische kontrastive Grammatik

This volume is part of the second, revised and enlarged edition of Deutsch-polnische kontrastive Grammatik (German-Polish contrastive grammar) which was first published in 1999. The new edition comprises four volumes:

1. Text – Phonetik – Schichtübergreifende
2. the sentence
3. the inflectable words - the verb - the nominal area
4. the inflectable words (published in 2012)

The Sentence deals with the most important syntactic phenomena of contemporary German and Polish in parallel descriptions. Sentence elements and sentence structure, the simple sentence, the complex sentence and positional phenomena are discussed in detail. The theoretical basis is the "Dependent Verb Grammar". The edition is aimed at Polonists and Germanists, language teachers, linguists, students and scholars.
