Diccionario de la navegación del Siglo de Oro

This dictionary is a comprehensive catalog of nautical terminology, and it also provides numerous new terms that expand one's knowledge of navigation. Furthermore, it contains not only this vocabulary, but also terms from many other fields, such as astrology, astronomy, carpentry, cosmography, geography, mathematics, medicine, topography, chronology, and chronometry, among others.
It is a dictionary created using a new methodology. This work consists not only of simple and derived forms but also presents several lexicographical innovations: alphabetical order, semantic fields, definitions, preferred combinations, and phrases.
This dictionary offers different types of definitions. The novelty with respect to the phrases lies in the fact that we have accepted as phrases syntactic constructions that do not appear as such in dictionaries or grammars.
