In addition to a preparation and systematisation of the obstacle marking of wind turbines under aviation law, this book offers a well-founded legal analysis of the demand-based night lighting of wind turbines, with focus on the obligation of § 9 para. 8 EEG. In the sense of a practice-oriented commentary, the content of the provision and issues discussed in this regard are presented and interpreted. The compatibility with higher-ranking law and selected implementation issues are examined. In addition, approaches to the postulation for demand-based night-lighting founded on environmental protection regulations are presented.
