Die Durchsetzung menschenrechtlicher Sorgfaltspflichten im italienischen und deutschen autonomen Haftungsrecht

The responsibility of companies in value and supply chains is a hotly debated topic in legal scholarship. This study examines key liability issues under Italian and German autonomous law, focusing on whether and to what extent companies can be held liable in tort along the supply chain. It also analyses the legal implications of the EU Supply Chain Directive for the autonomous law of the member states, with particular emphasis on Italian liability law and practice. Finally, the study offers proposals for implementing the EU Supply Chain Directive in relation to liability issues in German and Italian law.
