When and under what conditions an employee's wage claim arises, i.e. a fundamental labour law issue, is still disputed today. The question is not only of dogmatic interest, but also has a significant impact in the practice of labour law. This study develops a solution that fits into the dogmatics of the law of obligations, but concentrates on the special features and effects in employment relationships and points out the consequences.
