Die Formalisierung der konsensualen Erledigung nach § 153a StPO

In view of the massive expansion of material criminal law over the past 50 years, law enforcement agencies are making extensive use of § 153a StPO to cope with the increasing volume of proceedings. The associated application deficits (including a lack of transparency) are comparable to those of procedural agreements prior to their codification in 2009. The dissertation therefore takes the approach of addressing these deficits by transferring knowledge from the nowadays strictly formalized procedural agreement (§ 257c StPO) to the non-formalized § 153a StPO. Unlike previous reform proposals, the study does not remain selective in terms of material or procedural modifications, but provides a comprehensive procedural approach.
