Die Freiwilligkeit von Homeoffice und ihre Grenzen

The study examines the voluntary character of home‑based telework and its limits in a German-French comparative perspective. It shows how the legal systems balance the interests of employers, employees and the state when introducing and terminating home-based telework. The study also takes into account the policy debate on a right to home‑based telework, which intensified in Germany during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on these findings, proposals for regulations on home‑based telework are developed. The author used a research stay at the Université de Bordeaux for an in‑depth analysis of French labour law.
