Die Haftung von Nichtanwälten unter der Geltung des Rechtsdienstleistungsgesetzes

While the liability of the members of the classical legal professions, above all the liability of attorneys, has been subject to legal debates ever since, a systematical examination of the liability of non-attorneys was missing until now. This work fills in the gap. Against the background of the amendment of the law on legal services the author examines the liability of non-attorneys both when complying as well as when infringing the Legal Service Act. This way the reader gets a comprehensive picture of the legal regime determining non-attorneys´ civil liabilities. The examination follows the provisions of the Legal Service Act that determine under which circumstances legal services may be provided by non-attorneys. The examined constellations of liabilities thereby reflect the diversity of the areas of life and the professions, that are affected by the Legal Service Act.
