calcActive())">
Description
Technical progress constantly creates new narrative possibilities for journalists and media producers. Immersive journalism is one of these technologies. It opens up additional news perspectives for the audience through a virtual extension of the perceptible environment. This raises not only technical but also ethical challenges that media professionals and audiences must address. Therefore, this book examines the media ethics aspects resulting from the use of immersive journalism with its technical and narrative characteristics. Both theoretical and empirical perspectives are incorporated into the discussion.
