Die rechtliche Entwicklung Ungarns seit 2010 aus europarechtlicher Sicht

In more and more countries in the European Union, a serious democratic regression can be observed. In this book, this phenomenon, which has not been explored in depth before, as well as the reaction mechanisms of the EU are presented using Hungary as a case study. The most important legislative changes since 2010, with which the Orbán government has been able to consolidate its power step by step, are examined and compared with European standards, and justification of national as well as international criticism is explored. The work is intended to deepen our understanding of the dangers posed by the ever-growing democratic regression and to provide an honest picture of the effectiveness of the available EU response mechanisms.
