In this book, the author looks at the legal nature of project management contracts in the construction industry and gives everyone involved in a construction project legal guidance on how to classify contracts and apply sections 650p ff. of the German Civil Code (BGB) to these types of contracts. The author takes a systematic look at the content of project management contracts in the construction industry, the different phases, how contracts are classified, and the individual provisions of sections 650p ff. BGB. The focus lies on the derivation of the contractual classification and the contractual obligations of the parties resulting from the statutory provisions for types of construction contracts.
