Die zulässige Marktpraxis im Rahmen des Verbots der Marktmanipulation

The thesis examines the European regulation of accepted market practices under MAR, which is an exemption to the prohibition of market manipulation. The provision provides supervisory authorities with the possibility to establish a prohibition exemption on their own. This thesis deals with the individual requirements that have to be fulfilled in order to establish the exemption in conformity with the law. Finally, the practical implementation and the economic background are examined in more detail. The prohibition of market manipulation and the other exemptions (securities stabilisation and buy-back programmes) are also taken into account. The dissertation is rounded off with a look at US law in dealing with market practices.
