Die Zusammenarbeit von Netzbetreibern im Strombereich vor dem Hintergrund der Digitalisierung und Dezentralisierung der Energiesysteme

The work highlights the active role of network operators as managers of the electricity system, taking into account the development of a decentralized and digitalized energy system. It methodically takes up the system of so-called regulated self-regulation and examines cooperation processes at the European and national level. In doing so, it also takes a look at informal processes that precede the shaping of law. Finally, the paper presents ideas for improving the current regulation in congestion management and formulates them as a mandate to the legislator. In this way, it combines fundamental scientific findings with practical implementation.

The thesis was awarded the doctoral prize of the Juristische Studiengesellschaft Jena e.V. and the faculty dissertation prize.
