Description
The use of digital health media is increasing in all population groups. Despite the enormous relevance of digital health literacy, the concept is only insufficiently reflected in the current German legal situation. There is no lack of necessary measures and political need for action, which the legislator could implement in order to promote the digital health literacy of the German population. The author investigates which legal regulations already exist, to what extent they sufficiently cover the concept of "digital health literacy" and which future developments of the legal situation would be desirable in order to do justice to the importance of digital health literacy also from a legal perspective.
