Digitalisierung in Recht, Politik und Verwaltung

The contributions to the present volume essentially originated from the 6th Speyerer Forum on the digital living environment. This conference was concerned with the question to what extent law, education, research and administration are prepared for digitalisation, how potential can be utilized better, and which risks need to be dealt with, placing particular emphasis on the thematic fields of data protection, electoral law, voter targeting, and media freedom and freedom of opinion on the internet. Other analyses are concerned with automated administrative acts, the implementation of Open Government in Germany, and the change to legal work.
