Young Academics: Perspektiven auf Pflege
Description
Increasing social diversity presents new challenges for nursing professionals. Diversity-sensitive nursing is of central importance in this context. Jacqueline Körber examines how nursing educators address and implement the diversity dimensions of sex/gender and sexual orientation in the theoretical instruction of generalist nursing education. Five guided expert interviews reveal a clear integration of these topics into the curriculum, yet show that the implementation is inconsistent and shaped by individual attitudes, skills and institutional frameworks. Based on these findings, the author derives recommendations for action to ensure the sustainable integration of diversity-sensitive content.
