Ein Integrationsregime für Margizens?

In the discourse on migration policy, hardly anything is as controversial as the most convincing way of dealing with migrants without a residence permit and with unclear residence prospects. Nachtigall's work approaches this area of conflict between promoting integration and restricting immigration from an interdisciplinary and comparative law perspective: She interprets the integration-relevant regulations of German residence law for asylum seekers, tolerated persons and those without status as an integration regime for Margizens and makes this approach plausible through a legal comparison with France. She shows that the integration criteria of economic performance, reproachable misconduct and nationality are particularly relevant in the German integration regime.
