The three main problem areas of public transport – cooperation, planning and operational implementation – are being examined with a view to the possible uses of a nationwide mobility platform. In the course of the cooperative use of the platform, the focus is on questions concerning the cooperation among the public transport authorities as well as between public transport authorities and public transport companies. The planning application possibilities refer to local transport plans and the use of the platform data. Operational applications include on-demand transports, a connection guarantee, and additive parcel transport.
