Elastizität des Preisstabilitätsbegriffs

The European Central Bank’s (ECB) ‘green monetary policy’ has raised the fundamental question of the extent to which the ECB must treat individual market participants equally, and under what conditions unequal treatment in the market is permissible. In this work, the author examines how market interventions can be justified on the basis of the primary objective of price stability. The publication conducts a comparative legal analysis of the framework of competences under Article 127(1) TFEU and discusses the principle of an open market economy with free competition.
