Entgeltsicherung bei Kurzarbeit in Fällen alternativer Kausalität

The dissertation examines the question, which has not been fundamentally investigated so far, of what effects it has on the economic protection of employees when short-time work coincides with another reason for work absence. The analysis of the individual cases of collision includes a review of the existing legal situation and, based on this, proposals are made for new legal regulations that take the interests of the parties into account.
The legal analysis provides labour law professionals with a well-founded decision-making basis for resolving conflict situations during phases of short-time work. The work offers new ideas for the academic discussion that are not limited to the area of short-time work.
