This book offers a unique insight behind the scenes of the transplant system and gives you reason to question your own opinion regarding organ donation. Transplant representatives speak openly about their personal experiences with family members. Using structured interviews, 30 transplant representatives were asked about their experiences with relatives in connection with the organ donation decision. Relevant aspects of the topic are discussed. Their experiential knowledge creates access to an area that has so far not been examined in more detail in social debates and yet is able to provide relevant approaches and suggestions to the political discourse.
