Erlanger Jahrbuch für Interreligiöse Diskurse

This volume of the Erlangen Yearbook for Interreligious Discourses focuses on interreligious competence and the teaching of values in education at different levels. It emphasizes the key factors that foster social cohesion in a changing world. Interreligious competence – a sound knowledge of one’s own religion and those of others – is an important factor in the social integration of people from different backgrounds and religious affiliations. This concept lies at the core of the work of the Bavarian Research Center for Interreligious Discourses (BaFID).
